The Workshop Future’s Cytopathology will be realized for the faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, São Paulo State University, UNESP, in Botucatu – SP, April 09-10, 2016. The Workshop is target to undergraduates, graduates and professionals from Veterinary Medicine and related areas. The aim are expand the cytopathology technics, enable and update who works with diagnosis.

Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) has been widely used in the diagnosis of lesions from various origins, especially neoplasic. The method is simple, fast, safe, minimally invasive and inexpensive, which allows through the evaluation of cell morphology to establish prognosis, delineate surgical margins, monitor lesion growth, validate indication euthanasia during surgery and monitor chemotherapy protocols.

Will be explained immunocytochemistry, cell block, lymphoma´s cytology, breast, microorganisms, bone marrow and discussion of clinical reports. The Workshop purpose is attend the demand and update these professionals, because this area is expanding and overall progress scientific knowledge.
